The Department of New Media and Communication, within the Faculty of Communication at Süleyman Demirel University (SDU), was established in 2023. This department aims to provide students with a comprehensive education through both theoretical and practical courses. Theoretical courses are designed to offer students in-depth knowledge in areas such as new media, digital communication, media theories, and communication sociology, while practical courses aim to equip students with hands-on skills. The goal is for students to gain competencies in various fields such as social media management, digital content creation, data journalism, and multimedia design. Upon graduation, students are expected to possess the knowledge and skills necessary to compete in the industry.
