The Faculty of Communication Met with Its Graduating Students

Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Communication brought students and graduates together as part of the project titled ‘Building Bridges: Graduates and the Future 3.’

The conference, held in Hall B of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, was attended by Prof. Dr. Ümit Arklan, Dean of the Faculty of Communication, academic staff and students.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Ümit Arklan, Dean of the Faculty of Communication, stated, ‘Our graduates are guiding and enlightening many of our friends who have questions in their minds and are seeking to chart a course for the future. The fact that our students graduate in different periods is very valuable to us. I would like to thank our graduates and everyone who contributed to this project.’
The event was attended by guest speakers Videographer Mehmet Metin, Presenter-Reporter and Editor Zümrüt Çalış, and LÖSEV Public Relations Specialist Berkay Eker. Graduates who have achieved significant successes in their fields shared their industry experiences, challenges they faced, and career journeys with the students.

During the event, Zümrüt Çalış advised, ‘Don't be afraid to make mistakes. You have the right to make mistakes now, but once you enter the industry, that right is taken away from you.’ Mehmet Metin added, ‘Break down your dreams and goals into small steps. This makes them easier to achieve, and you will feel satisfied when you reach your goals.’
Berkay Eker added, ‘Don't be afraid to make mistakes, as long as you want to succeed. Your mistakes will certainly pay off.’
