2023 Attention to Students Who Will Prefer the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema According to YKS Results

1) There is no foreign language preparatory class in our department.
2) There is no internship obligation in our department. Our students can do internship optionally.
3) In our department, our courses are theoretical and practice-based, and the equipment required by the profession can be obtained from Tayfa Film Workshop, which is the workshop of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, and other department workshops within the faculty.
4) There are no expenses for consumables, tools and equipment to be used in course applications; there are no teaching expenses for exams, materials and education and training services.
5) The department has two departments: Radio-Television Department and Cinema Department. The language of education is Turkish. The aim of the Radio, Television and Cinema program is to train communicators who have a good command of the approaches in the field of communication, who understand the realities of the country and the world, who have the knowledge, skills and equipment to fulfill the requirements of the sector, who can specialize in many different levels in the field of radio, television and cinema, and who are committed to professional ethics.
6) Our department continues its educational activities in Ertokuş Bey (Central) Classrooms in the East Campus, which is one of the central campuses of Süleyman Demirel University.
7) In your free time outside your class hours, you are provided with job opportunities in all academic and administrative units of our university, including units such as Radio Television Research and Application Center (RATEM), Corporate Communication Center (KİMER), in order to contribute to your growth as productive individuals who have gained both financial gain and practical skills and acquired work discipline by working in temporary jobs in line with your interests and abilities. The main task of our part-time students is to contribute to the managers, officers and lecturers without disrupting the working order in the units by working in simple office work, jobs that do not require specialization and jobs related to the subject they are studying. 8) In our university; 500 students are granted food scholarships. Scholarship announcements are announced on the main page of our University and via e-mail to our students after the academic year begins. Students in need are required to apply online via “SDU Net” and follow the process. The food scholarship can be used for one meal a day. In addition, our university carries out a social responsibility project with the slogan “SDÜ Askıda Yemek”. With the computer application created within this framework, the financial contributions of our volunteer participants are collected in a pool and presented only to our students who need help as “food on hangers”.
