Attention to Students Who Will Prefer the Department of Visual Communication Design According to YKS Results

1. There is no foreign language preparatory class in our department.
2. There is no internship obligation in our department. Our students can do internship optionally.
3. Within the scope of the courses of our department, there is no need for clothing and equipment materials required by the profession.
4. Consumables, tools and equipment to be used in course applications; There are no teaching expenses for exams, materials and education and training services.
5. The main fields of study of the Visual Communication Design undergraduate programme are: communication, communication technologies, informatics, art and design. Our department continues its education and training activities in the Faculty of Communication, East Campus.
6. Our biggest goal is to contribute to your growth as productive individuals who have gained both financial gain and practical skills and acquired work discipline by working in temporary jobs in line with your interests and abilities in your free time outside your class hours. For this purpose, our university provides you with part-time work opportunities in all academic and administrative units. The main task of our part-time students is to contribute to the managers, officers and lecturers by working in simple office work, in jobs that do not require specialisation and in jobs related to the subject they are studying, without disrupting the working order in the units. 7. In our university, 500 students are granted food scholarships. Scholarship announcements are announced on the main page of our University and via e-mail to our students after the academic year begins. Students in need are required to apply online via "SDÜ Net" and follow the process. The food scholarship can be used for one meal a day. Our university has initiated a social responsibility project called "SDU Askıda Yemek". With the application created within this framework, the financial contributions of our volunteer participants are collected in a pool and presented to our students in need as "food on hangers".
